Bark panel - birch bark

Thanks to its characteristic surface and supple, leather-like flexibility, birch bark has been popular with craftsmen for centuries for making storage boxes and containers, rucksacks, baskets, boats (canoes), house roofs, natural tarpaulins and much more. Today, birch bark is also often used as decoration, but is becoming increasingly popular with discerning craftsmen and hobbyists as a forgotten material with a tradition dating back thousands of years and an attractive appearance.
