Birch bark handles

Birch bark has been highly valued as a handle material since the Bronze Age, as it is far superior to many natural materials in terms of its technical and biochemical properties. It is resistant to weathering and is very stable and tough.
It feels warm and soft on the skin and, with a pH value of 5.5, has the same pH value as the skin itself.
Their antiseptic properties also have a positive effect against fungi and bacteria in handles.
