From the bark plate to the arrow quiver
A large Piece of birch bark a customer asked us for in spring. He wanted a piece of bark that was as good as possible and at least 2 mm thick. The customer only wanted to decide whether the inside or outside would be visible later during the course of his work: An arrow quiver made from birch bark was to be created. 'Yarn', that is Threads made from birch bark were not required as leather straps were used. The seam was to be held together with the leather straps and reinforced/glued on the inside with linen tent canvas (tipi).
It only took a short time and we at sagaan received the first pictures of the beautiful quiver. Now there is also a detailed build report with Instructions for building a birch bark quiver - Instructions from customer - sagaan.
