Build your own canoe in the traditional way, according to the ancient knowledge of the Indians of North America and Canada. Birch bark for canoes made from large birch bark panels.<\/p>\n

The largest possible sheets of birch bark are required for canoe construction. We offer pieces in sizes from approx. 50 x 250 cm to 70 x 300 cm, and occasionally lengths of up to 450 cm. You can also obtain intermediate sizes and smaller pieces from us.<\/p>\n

Our canoe bark is of the highest quality and comes from strong, healthy trees in Siberia - this is where the best birch bark comes from: for canoe construction it must be supple and flexible, with as few knots and knots as possible, without holes, not torn and strong.
\nOur bark is approx. 2-3mm thick<\/p>\n

We calculate the goods in cm\u00b2. Depending on the quality, we charge from EUR 0.015 for 1 cm\u00b2 of canoeable birch bark in special and oversize sizes, i.e. EUR 150 per m\u00b2.

The oversized birch bark is usually shipped rolled, but can be unrolled again<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Birch bark for processing<\/h3>\n

As a natural material, birch bark is subject to variations in size, thickness and surface shape.
\nThe white outer layer of the bark can be overgrown with mosses and lichens in addition to the typical black growths, but the surface structure can also be affected by the weather and other external influences. the surface has not been processed or altered by us, the white outer layer has not been removed.<\/p>\n
