Birch bark handle (blanks) for making your own handles - knives, fly rods and the like<\/h3>\n

Blank in nevi<\/a>-Quality, ideal for making your own birch bark handle.
\nCylindrical, through hole. Dimensions: \u00d8 31 x 100mm. \/ \u00d8 41 x 100mm.<\/p>\n

These blanks are tailored to the special requirements of self-builders. They are an excellent starting material for the production of handles which, in addition to a beautiful appearance and a unique feel, must fulfil the highest technical requirements.<\/p>\n

Our partners at nevi manufacture these blanks for us using a patented process that is tailored to the special material properties of birch bark. Incidentally, the sensational betula-handles products from nevi are also created in the same way.<\/p>\n

Only the best types of bark are used. After careful selection, the bark is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for gluing using a special process that ensures the greatest possible glue penetration. The gluing itself is carried out under precisely defined pressure. Among other things, this ensures that the bark is never compressed more than absolutely necessary. This prevents excessive compression and preserves the resilience of the honeycomb cell structure.<\/p>\n

The handle blanks are available in two versions: 31mm and 41mm,
\nNote: These are blanks whose surfaces are not ready for use.
\nThe surfaces are not cemented and oiled.
\nIn places, the blanks have gaps in the material and imperfections. These are usually removed during processing (turning, sanding, milling, carving...) or can be filled with kit. In order to compensate for the additional work involved, we will make allowances in the price.<\/p>\n
